The constituency
Secunderabad is one of Telangana's seventeen Lok Sabha constituencies, covering central and northern Hyderabad. Its assembly segments include Amberpet, the seat he represented in the Legislative Assembly from 2009 to 2018.
In the House
As a Union Minister he answers questions, responds to debates and carries government business in Parliament on behalf of his ministries — Home Affairs as Minister of State, and later Culture, Tourism, DoNER, Coal and Mines.
